Just received a mailer from Guerlain which is running a series of weekend specials in July.

While I got the Guerlain Prarure Pearly White Compact Foundation at a steal, I discovered that actually the Prarure Pearly White Brightening Fluid Foundation gives a much more superior finish. It spreads very easily for a seamless, velvety natural finish, provides good coverage and lasts well throughout the day. It's definitely one of the best liquid foundations I've ever tried. If I had to pick one, I would definitely recommend the Fluid Foundation over the Compact Foundation. As for powder foundations in general, my all time favourite is still Lancome's Maquicake UV Infinite, which is also Lancome's top-selling powder foundation in Singapore. Currently, the Lancome counter at Tangs is giving away a free Maquicake refill with every purchase of the Maquicake UV Infinite Powder Foundation (including the case). If I didn't have the case already, I would definitely stock up.
