Kinokuniya Haul

Kinokuniya is offering a 20% discount this National Day weekend so I took advantage of it to pick up the new Wedding & Travel ($6) magazine which comes with a Shu Uemura whitening skincare sample set, and the August issue of Nuyou ($4) which comes with a full size Garnier Age Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Eye Cream and Age Lift Pro-X Anti-Aging Whitening Cream Serum that is worth $45. Both GWPs are exclusive to Kinokuniya.

I also picked up Japanese model Rinka's book, "Love Myself" ($32) which contains her beauty and fashion tips, plus The Towering World of Jimmy Choo ($36.33). Some of you may remember that Rinka used to be the spokesmodel for Aube before the brand got all dowdified into Aube Couture. Although she looks incredibly youthful, Rinka is actually 36 this year. She has perfected that kawaii (cute) princess style that is still enduringly popular in Japan. This book is already into its third printing. I also got the last copy on the shelf at Kino.
