Robinsons Expo Sale

I went to check out the Robinsons sale at Expo today with my mom. For cardmembers, with every $50 purchase, you can get $5 off (some brands are excluded). The prestige makeup brands available at YSL, Paul & Joe and Givenchy. The prices on YSL were very attractive with Rouge Volupte lipsticks going for S$20, powder foundations for $44 (very limited shades left). They also had lipglosses, mascaras, blushes etc.

The selection for Paul & Joe and Givenchy was very small so not worth making the trip to the Expo for these 2 brands alone. Better to wait for the Prestige warehouse sale at Jalan Kilang (not sure when the next one will be but these take place usually once or twice a year).


There is a 20%+20% off discount on L'Oreal, which had lots of True Match face powders, liquid foundations, mascaras, concealers, blushes and skincare. Other beauty brands at the sale include Avene, Phytomer, Elf, Ahava, ZA.




There was also a large selection of fragrances on sale but the prices are not as cheap as the Luxasia warehouse sale. The brands available include Sarah Jessica Parker, J.Lo, Armani, Burberry, Guess, Gap, Banana Republic, Vera Wang, Ralph Lauren, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, Carolina Herrara and Diesel. Marc Jacobs Splashes in Lemon, Cucumber and Rain were going for S$75 each. SJP's Covet 100ml was going for S$55 with some gift sets containing the 50ml going at S$50.


Here's my haul: French Connection skirt (S$59) and Gap Dream Body Mist 200ml (S$13.95). I've been a big fan of the Dream scent ever since my university years and have yet to come across anything similar to it. I would have stocked up more bottles of it but it's just so rare for me to finish any fragrance or body mist.

And a ton of snacks for my boyfriend :-)
