Fasio Shade Trick Eyes GR4

Fasio Shade Trick Eyes GR4 caught my eye when it was first released in spring earlier this year, primarily due to the gorgeous deep emerald shade. (Fasio is a Japanese drugstore brand made by Kose.)

I finally picked it up at one of Watsons' 20% sales a month ago. It usually retails at S$21.40. After the discount, it was about S$17, which is very affordable. The smooth texture of the eyeshadows is similar to Majolica Majorca's Jewelling Eyes but with better colour payoff. The shimmer is quite delicate and soft.

After prepping with Testimo Eye Bright Up Base, I used a brush to apply the white shade over the browbone area. Next, I used the include sponge applicator to apply the light mint shade at the inner corners, the crease and along the lower lashline line; the dark emerald shade from the middle of the lid to the outer corners and the outer half of the lower lashline; and the black shade along the upper lashline.

Then I finished with Fasio Mascaliner GR700 mascara and Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Liner along the upper lashline.

For the rest of the look, I used Cosme Decorte AQ Cream Foundation Supreme 201 over Makeup Base 01 (Moist), Jill Stuart Loose Powder #1 Natural, NARS Madly Blush and Strawberry Fields lipgloss, Paul & Joe Stick Concealer 01, K-Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow 24h 01.

The Fasio Shade Trick Eyes GR4 is worth considering if you are looking for a smoky green palette that doesn't cost a bomb. The shades are also quite easy to wear as they are not crazily bright and there is no annoying glitter fallout.

I also loved the NARS Strawberry Fields lipgloss which is from the current Fall collection. It is a juicy raspberry pink without any shimmer or glitter. It does feel a bit sticky when applied but lasts over three hours without bleeding.
