NOT(y)D - Christmas nails

this is the mani i did for yesterday, we went to a bigger festive event. sorry, i didn't make a photo of my make up, maybe i will redo it and post later.
in fact it was a sparkly and gold eye make up and bold fuchsia/red lips, a totally black outfit and a long thin scarf with the same colour as my lips.
i wore the gold ring from UnlimitedElizabeth with the nails.
i wanted my nail colour to link to the rest of the look, and a glittery reddish/pink seemed perfect for a christmas party.
this is actually one coat of Essence's Colour & Go in So Glamourous as a base colour and two coats of MAC Bad Fairy nail polish from the Venomous Villains collection. it's a glittery magenta with a gold duochrome. i used Seche Vite as top coat.

looking at it directly, it's a deep magenta, but in an angle and especially in dimmed light/candlelight, it flashes beautifully golden. love it!
