Catrice new range: Photo Finish foundation.

i found the Photo Finish Liquid Foundation 18h some days ago in the Catrice display of my local Catrice-dealer ;) finally it was delivered (there always was an empty gap). i have told you that i would totally try this foundation even as the other one (Infinite Matt, review here) has not reached my expectations, i'm an inveterate optimist ;).
but i can calm you: this is a good one!
it costs 6.49€ and contains 30ml.
it comes in a round frosted glass bottle with a clear acrylic cap and a nice pump. i like that they put seals on it, but i think other products like mascara or lipsticks and glosses need a seal much more.
another positive detail to mention (for packaging pedants like me) is that they have totally different bottle designs for their two new foundations and both very classy and high quality.

it claims to be teint perfectioning with light reflecting pigments, lasting up to 18h, oil free and dermalogically tested.
again, nothing about an spf is mentioned:

"fresh and light formulation with high moisture content and light-reflecting pigments, evens out skin imperfections and perfectly matches your skin tone. with soft focus effect for a naturally glowing complexion without mask-effect. lasts up to 18h. oilfree, non-comedogen, skin compatibility dermatologically approved. for a flawless & radiant complexion as perfect as a retouched photo."

sounds great, huh?
i bought it in the lightest shade, #010 Sand Beige. it's a neutral shade with slight yellow undertones that matches about NC 20-25 in MAC. it comes out promisingly light (for you pale girls) but darkens quite a bit on me (especially noticeable on my arm swatches, on the face it's not that obvious).
fairly much product comes out with one pump. it has a thick creamy consistency (not as thick as the Infinite Matt foundation) and smells very perfumy like a harsh rose scent.

this is how much comes out with one pump
one drop of: MAC Pro Longwear NC20 - Catrice Photo Finish in #010
Catrice Photo Finish in #010: freshly applied next to 10 minutes after application.

i usually apply it with a damp BeautyBlender sponge. it gives a medium coverage. it sinks into my skin right away and melts to a natural silky veil. my skin looks as if it has a very fine texture and this foundation conceals my enlarged pores quite well. the finish has a natural sheen, my skin feels moisturised and soft, but dry and cool to the touch. it doesn't feel sticky and heavy like the Infinite Matt foundation at all.
i find its longevity ok, not a bit 18h (more towards 8h on my oily skin) but it does control my skin sebum for a pretty long time and fades evenly still leaving an somewhat even complexion without getting blotchy. in the end i find most of the claims to be fulfilled and am very positively surprised with this foundation. i can recommend it - if you don't have a very sensitive nose.

this is how it looks applied. no concealer or powder here.

UPDATE:
comparison to Infinite Matt foundation for all of you who are curious:
Infinite Matt is noticeably lighter than Photo Finish in the lightest shade, it's more creamy but also feels much thicker and more sticky than Photo Finish.

Infinite Matt - Photo Finish
one drop of: Infinite Matt - Photo Finish
freshly applied: Infinite Matt - Photo Finish
after 10 minutes: Infinite Matt - Photo Finish
