Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss in #52 Génie.
i love the formula of the Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss, so when i was searching for a good peach lip colour i quickly remembered that Chanel had one in their Extrait de Gloss range.
#52 Génie is a non-shimmery bright peachy coral. the consistency is thick and creamy but only little sticky. it has a good opacity, although not milky it covers your lips in a wash of colour with one thin coat. it has a highly glossy shine and feels smooth on your lips. i like that you don't need a thick layer but still have a nice brightening effect, it makes my lips look juicy and lush, but never feels goopy. these glosses have good moisturising properties and leave my lips soft and smooth. Génie stays on for about 3-4 hours on me, without eating but careful drinking and a lot of chit chat.
i also like the sleek packaging a lot. it's a heavy black lacquered glass tube with a black metal cap - these glosses feel very hefty and worthy in your hands. the flexible applicator fits perfectly on the curves of your lips, also it grabs the perfect amount of product each time.
the downside of the packaging is that you can't see how much product you have left (but in fact i find half-empty or nearly emptly gloss tubes very unesthetic - i would much prefer opaque packagings).
Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss contains 8g (which is quite a high amount for a gloss) and cost 29.95€.
i ordered on douglas.de and with the code LLF354 i got a Lolita Lempicka "First" purse spray (7ml) since my order was above 39€.

in the end, the colour of Génie looks beautiful but still is a tad too coral compared to what i'm searching for. i'd like it a bit more yellowish-orange-peach. in fact i'm searching for a shade like MAC's Ember Glow - but less milky. i'm going to look into Dior's Addict lipstick in 343 Miss Dior, but do you have any other recommendations?
