Best Things in Beauty : MAC Blushes revisited: Well Dressed.

this is the last of my MAC Blushes and will complete my MAC Blushes revisited series (overview post here).
MAC Well Dressed blusher is one of the more popular shades of the permanent range. this is a Satin finish blush with medium pigmentation and very fine shimmer particles that are not visible on the skin as sparkles but will provide a nice healthy sheen.
Well Dressed is a pale cool toned pink with very fine white pearl. it is a rather firmly pressed blush with low colour pay-off and combined with the light colour, it ends up being a fairly low pigmented blusher with a sheer result. the colour works best on pale to medium skin tones up to about MAC NC30/35 and needs to be built up on the deeper skin tones of this scale. however, it's quite easy to use that way since i can swirl my brush as much as i want and still won't end up with too much, it will always be a soft pink hue on me. i have no complaints regarding the blendability, the staying power is a bit weak on this though. it can't stand my oily skin and fades after about 5-6 hours.
the white pearl sometimes is too cool toned for my yellow undertones, though. i also like to use it as a base shade and layer on some warmer pinks or pearly pinky-peaches just on the apples of the cheeks, it looks amazing that way!
i think Well Dressed is an easy-to-wear blusher, every blush lover should have a pale cool pink in their collection and it's a good shade for beginners, too.
