Aquagirl & Kesalan Pathan Christmas Coffrets

Aqua Girl will release its first ever Christmas coffret on 19 October in Japan. Isetan in Shinjuku will have an exclusive advance launch of the Tribute 2011 set (8925yen) from 19-25 October. The set includes an Elegant Kiss Rouge in Passionate, a Coupling Nail Lacquer in Aquagirl Lover and an Aquagirl Noble (rose-scented beauty oil).



Aquagirl will also release two limited edition shades of Neo Graphic Pressed Powder (4725yen) on 10 November.



Kesalan Patharan will release its Leopard Collection coffret (6825yen) on 21 October in Japan. It includes Nuance Cheek Leopard X11, Eye Color Palette S X11, Aqua Lip Carat X11, Slide Cheek Brush X11 and a pouch. Such a pity that Kesalan Patharan is no longer available in Singapore!

Yet another Christmas coffret to add to those shopping lists: Kesalan Patharan's Jewelled Rose collection (8400yen) will be released on 23 October in Japan and includes a Jewelled Rose Compact with Swarovski crystals, Aqua Lip Carat and face brush.

Kesalan Patharan Fall '09

Kesalan Patharan will release its Fall '09 collection on 21 August in Japan. All the items are limited edition except the Pure Pearl Varie.

1. Eye Color Palette (3990yen): 2 palettes
2. Eye Pencil (2625yen): 2 shades
3. Gloss & Set Mascara (3675yen): 2 shades
4. Aqua Lip Carat (2625yen): 3 shades
5. Pure Pearl Varie (2100yen): loose pearl powder, 3 shades



The website has been updated with the Summer '09 collection, Terracotta Illusion, which consists of just a Sheer Lighting Bronzer (4410yen).

Kesalan Patharan Spring '09

The Kesalan Patharan website has been updated with the new Spring '09 collection, Flowering Garden. The collection will be released on 20 February in Japan. I like the design of the limited edition Eye Color Palettes, which usually have a much silkier and more luxurious texture compared to the regular round trios. But the shades from this collection are not that tempting to me so I'm passing on this.

Spring '09 Collections

Picked up Voce magazine at Kino this morning and its spring collections booklet did not disappoint! After poring over it on and off throughout the day, I've got so many items on my shopping list that I don't even know where to start...

Here's a look at some of the brands:

Cle de Peau (21 Jan): Nude/beige-themed makeup collection "Natural Absolute". Includes 3 new Liner Cremes which are super pricey at 6300yen.


Est (10 Jan): I'm very tempted by the look of the new Emotional Multiple Eyes palettes (5775yen) which are much more interesting and colorful than the usual gradational palettes by Japanese brands.


Fasio (16 Jan): Includes 8 Gradation Deep Eyes palettes (1365yen) and 4 Gradation Mix Face Colors (1470yen).


Kesalan Patharan (20 Feb): Includes 3 limited edition Eye Color Palettes (3990yen) and two Reflect Eyes (mousse eyeshadows) (2415yen).


Kate (1 Feb): Includes 5 Diamond Cut Eyes palettes (1680yen), Gradical Eyes BG1 and Deep Trap Eyes GN1.



Lavshuca (1 Feb): Includes 5 Grade Color Eyes (1680yen), new Separate Keep Mascaras and Finish Powders (1680yen) which comes in a much more simple tub packaging than the current loose face powders. Lavshuca doesn't usually release green palettes so it's nice to see one in the new line-up.


Majolica Majorca (21 Jan): The frumpy promo visual for this is quite disappointing by MM's usual standards. The theme of the collection is "Girly Erotica" but the promo visual looks anything but erotic.


Maquillage (21 Jan): Includes 5 Eyes Creator 3D palettes (3990yen_), 10 Eye Color N (Powder) (840yen), 10 Eye Color N (Cream) (840yen), 4 Face Creator 3D palettes (2940yen for refill, 1260yen for case).



This is a good month to shop for magazines at Kino as they are having a storewide 20% discount for cardholders so Voce cost me only $11.30. Kino also offers exclusive freebies with various local magazines each month. Currently, it's giving away a Nivea cream with Cleo, a clutch bag with Her World and a set of 5 Laneige skincare samples with a local Chinese magazine (can't recall the title exactly but Zoe Tay is on the cover).

Kesalan Patharan Holiday Coffret

Kesalan Patharan has updated its website with its Christmas coffret, Party Color Eyes (7350yen). The coffret will be released on 24 October in Japan and it includes:

1. Eye Color S X08G gold and X08B brown
2. Pure Pearl Varie X08: gold loose powder
3. Eye Make Brush
4. Screw Brush
5. Lower Lash: mascara for the lower lashes
6. Cleanse Cleanse 30ml: makeup cleansing oil

I'm not a big fan of gold and brown tones so this set won't be on my holiday shopping list as it doesn't really wow me. But it's still a good option to consider as it works out to getting 8 items for less than 1000yen each.

Kesalan Patharan Aqua Lip Carat

Kesalan Patharan will release three limited edition shades of their Aqua Lip Carat (2625yen) lipgloss on 19 September in Japan. The shades are S001 Satin Rose, S002 Chiffon Pink and S003 Velvet Orange.

The Kesalan Patharan website has been updated with the new fall collection, Melty Color Magic which will be launched on 22 August in Japan.



It includes:

It's a pity that Kesalan Patharan pulled out of Singapore last year, otherwise I would be seriously tempted to pick up the gorgeous eyeshadow palettes, especially S007!
