i'm obessed with golden shimmers!!!

this is my latest nail polish haul - can you see the leitmotif in these? yes. i admit that i buy almost every colour that has a gold shimmer in it. omg now i see! about 90% of my latest nail polish purchases had, if they weren't cream formulas, GOLD SHIMMER!!! i have a subconsciuos addiction. but i always find a gold shimmer is what makes the colour different from the others, it's the "special"-factor to me.

Zoya Jules

i bought it on ebay for about 7-8€ (shipping included), it's from their Intimate collection. the colour is a taupe-sand base with lots of bigger gold and silver shimmers. each bottle contains 15ml. the texture of this is great as always with Zoya polishes, which is not too creamy and gives an even application without streaks. i like the small and oval brush head for my rather small nails. it dries quickly and i even haven't noticed tip wear after over 2 days (i know it's not very significant, but i always have to take off my polish after the weekend :( ).

China Glaze White Cap
my first China Glaze nail polish ever (can't even believe it, since i have so many :P)! it's great that they are really cheap (about 3$ in the states) but you can only get them this cheap on ebay. each bottle contains 14ml and has a longer round brush. White Cap is a very sheer milky white with tons of yellow gold, green and pink shimmer flecks and was released this spring with their Anchors Away collection. it reminds me of Pearl Drop nail polish from Chanel, but in a more shimmery/gritty version. in one coat it only shows the golden shimmers, two coats will give you a milkier effect. i think it's not only a great top coat, but also beautiful worn in one coat as a sheer sparkly nail. the formula is quite liquidy, it applies streak-less. drying time doesn't take too long.

Rival de Loop #50
this shade is similar to the shade #51 (which i've showed you here), but this is warmer, a bit darker and has bigger gold shimmering bits. but both are great finds at a low price of 1.99€ (for 15ml each)! however, with this bottle, you must take off the big cap to use the smaller handle underneath that hold the brush (like Chanel, Dior, Butter London, and many other brands).

purple polish parade - dark purples.

purple nail polishes are one of my obsessions - still haven't found the perfect shade in the cream finishes, so this odyssey still hasn't come to an end. my dream shade is a medium dark, very blue toned purple cream - i once saw it, but couldn't order it. do you have some recommendations?
