P2 new range - little haul and comparison

today i accidentally stumbled across the new products by P2, i just went to the drugstore quickly to get some cleansing wipes and shampoo. some new eyeshadow palettes were already sold out, there is also a new "limited edition" (filled with all new, but permanent products) called "Me, Myself and I" (oh my gosh i HATE that name!! i also hate it when people have "me, myself & i" photo albums in their social network sites!!! UNFRIEND :P) .
so i just quickly grabbed some products, but i have to admit that i find this new assortment change very lame in comparison to the last one (with the new setting spray, the eye brightening stick etc.).  but of course you have heard about the new products on every second blog, so i assume you know about it and won't write about them in general. just a focus on what i bought:

• Pure Colour Lipstick in #11 Via Medici
• baked duo eyeshadow in #60 Moonlight Glam
• 4 nail polishes in: Forever, Groovy, Soulful, Elegant

P2 Eye Dream in #60 Moonlight Glam

this is a baked duo eyeshadow, consisting a shimmery blue toned purple side and a swirly half with lavender, taupe and bronze. it costs 2.95€. you can use it wet&dry.

P2 Moonlight Glam in natural light - in artificial lighting

i only bought it to review and for comparison to (i'm sure you already noticed): MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow in Odd Couple. because this seems to be made to be a DUPE. there is also a dupe of MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow in Sea&Sky, but i don't have the original. maybe i'll pick it up next time.

P2 Moonlight Glam - MAC Odd Couple

in direct comparison the light half of MAC Odd Couple is grittier and chunkier than P2, the colour mix seems to be the same and i would prefer the P2.
the purple side of MAC seems less blue toned than P2, but more shimmery/metallic and has more dimension to it. here i prefer the MAC.

P2 Colour Victim Nail Polishes

these still are 8ml for 1.55€. the colours are quite lame, some have old names but new colours. they have a wide flat brush now while they had a thin round one before, that's an improvement.

#690 Forever 

a muted mauvey rosewood, cream finish.

the "old" Forever was a nude - the "new" Forever is a purple rosewood shade

a cream finish sea green.

as you can see the Catrice polish is lighter and more green than P2 Groovy.

a cream finish dark purple-taupe.

the "old" Soulful was a reddish dark brown - the "new" Soulful is a cool toned greyish taupe

a warm nude with silver microshimmer.

the "old" Elegant was a lavender grey with pink duochrome shimmer - the "new" Elegant is a opaque nude

P2 Pure Colour Lipstick in #11 Via Medici

haha i had to buy this because of it's name ;) but fortunately the colour is also very nice, a creamy dark brownish rosewood, one or two shades darker than my actual lip colour. it costs 1.95€.
