Essence Blossoms etc... Liquid Blush
another drugstore cream blush was recently released with Essence's Blossoms etc... collection. luckily i got the last one in the display as i think this i probably the most coveted product of this LE.
it contains 15ml and costs 2.95€.
it comes in a small vacuum pump packaging that strongly reminds me of the Make Up For Ever Microfinish HD Cream Blushes. the pump is very precise, i like the packaging very much.
there's only one colour: #01 Flowerkissed. it's a medium warm pink with pink microshimmer. the texture is more of a gel than a cream or liquid. it feels watery and fresh on the skin.
it blends out well, but you have to work fast because it's also a stain (i had a small drop on my arm that i photographed prior to blending, and it left a stain of a reddish pink dot when i blended out the rest after about 1 minute or so).
because it contains much water, i would recommend to stiple it on with a synthetic brush to avoid it messing with your foundation underneath and not getting a blotchy result. also, don't apply it on powdered skin. set your foundation+blush afterwards. it's quite sheer but buildable with a second or third layer to a much more intense colour. the finish is dewy, the microshimmers are not too apparent and don't emphasize enlarged pores. i haven't tried it on my lips yet.
because it stains the skin, the longevity is very high.
altogether i can recommend this product to try out cream blushes, but it's not very easy to use.
this is how it looks applied more sheer, in 2 layers. |
an intense application with 3 layers. |
