Operation Use It Up
Haven't done a post like this for awhile as March was a hectic month. Feels good to clear out another batch of products!
1. John Masters Organics Evening Primrose Shampoo for Dry Hair: This is supposed to be suitable for color-treated hair and is free of sodium lauryl sulfate, parabens, GMOs, artificial color and fragrance, and petrochemicals. The scent was a bit too herbal for my liking and it left my hair slightly tangled.
2. Asience Conditioner: This may be too rich for some people but it works very well for softening and detangling my dyed hair.
3. Body Shop Sweet Lemon Whip Body Lotion: I liked the lemony scent which is not too generic. The non-greasy light texture also works well in Singapore's humid weather.
4. Hada Labo AHA/BHA Exfoliating Face Wash Foam: This has both glycolic acid and salicylic acid for improving skin clarity. The self-foaming face wash is a breeze to use as it rinses off easily without stripping the skin but I can't say that it did any miracles for improving my skin.
5. Dove Intense Repair Shampoo: One of the few shampoos that don't leave my hair a dry, tangled mess when I rinse it out.
6. Cleansing Express Eye Makeup Remover: This biphase eye makeup remover swiftly removes powder eyeshadow with a single swipe of the cotton pad. It takes a bit more soaking and gentle rubbing to thoroughly remove waterproof mascaras and eyeliners though. I would repurchase it.
7. Philosophy Amazing Grace Perfumed Shampoo, Bath & Shower Gel: This has a clean, softly feminine scent but I don't like it enough to want to purchase a full size.
8. Soap & Glory Hair Supply: This has the same scent as Girligo. It is meant to be used as a intensive weekly treatment to keep hair smooth and shiny while coating and controlling split ends. However, this was just not conditioning enough for my hair.
9. H20+ Raspberry Guava Shower & Bath Gel: This has a sweet raspberry scent and conditioning vitamin E capsules to help moisturise skin. It lathers up easily and doesn't dry out my skin but I don't like the scent enough to want to repurchase it.
10. Aqualabel White Clear Foam: This has small particles in it to help exfoliate the skin but like many Japanese foaming cleansers, it left my skin feeling a bit tight.
11. Dior Skinflash Radiance Booster Pen 002: I used this on my under eye area. It does provide some coverage but it doesn't last well throughout the day and tends to crease after a few hours.
