the history of make up

if you loved the Vintage Make Up series by Lisa Eldridge like i did,  i strongly recommend you taking a bit of your time on this long weekend to watch this excellent documentary about the story of two women: Elizabeth Arden and Helena Rubinstein, the pioneers of modern beauty and make up, thus the history of all women and what we love so much: our make up.
it was very fascinating to watch and think about this aspect of make up that i haven't really explored yet.
most of it is in german, so you won't understand everything if you don't speak/understand the language.
