Le Métier de Beauté True Colour Eye Shadow in Spicy.

i finally did it! buying some rare brands (at least to me) instead of only lemming for them ;)
Maureen helped me to buy some great stuff, so you will see reviews of Chantecaille, Le Métier de Beauté, Clé de Peau and such in the near future :D
today i want to show you a Le Métier de Beauté True Colour Eye Shadow in the shade Spicy.
it comes in a simple and sleek little compact made of rubberized plastic. it has a wide pan and contains 3.8g of product which is quite a lot for an eyeshadow (remember one shadow by MAC contains 1.5g). it costs 30$ but i find that the content relativates the rather hefty price tag.
Spicy is a bronzey brown with golden shimmer. it has a very fine and silky texture and feels like velvet to touch. i would describe the texture inbetween NARS eyeshadows and MAC Starflash finishes.
it has a good pigmentation and applies as a warm brown with golden sheen to my lids. it goes on evenly and smooth and blends out incredibly beautiful and effortless. the colour stays all day on my lids when i prep it with an eyelid primer (use UDPP at the moment).
as an approach to Le Métier's "Couches de Couleur"-technique i love to wear it as a sheer wash layered over other eyeshadows, it creates a bronze light catching sheen and makes the eye make up look a lot more dimensional and glowy. it also looks great over totally different colours like a dark matte indigo or cool grey...
i'm so glad that i have already ordered more of these LMdB eyeshadows!

LMdB Spicy is lighter and more golden than MAC Go and less reddish than MAC Bronze.
