Estee Lauder Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Awareness campaign

This October, Estee Lauder will hold its annual Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) campaign with three limited edition Pink Ribbon products to raise awareness of and funds for BCA. $10 from the sale of every item will be donated to he Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

Clinique Great Skin, Great Cause (S$92) comprises its best-selling oil-free Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion (200ml) with a miniature picture frame key chain and a heart-shaped ribbon charm. This will be available at Clinique counters at Tangs Orchard, Robinsons Raffles City, Isetan Scotts, Metro Paragon, Takashimaya and BHG Bugis from 3-31 October.

Clinique Great Lips, Great Cause (S$42) is a cute trio of three mini Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 glosses in Clearly Pink, Air Kiss and Cabana Crush (1ml each) on a key ring with a heart-shaped ribbon charm and Clinique "C" charm. This will be available only at Tangs Orchard and Vivocity from 3-31 October.

Estee Lauder will also be offering its Perfectionist [CP+] wrinkle-correcting serum with a pink keychain. This will retail at S$150 for 50ml at all EL counters in Singapore (except Sephora) from 1-31 October.

Breast cancer is a disease that affects women of all ages, so it's worthwhile to do regular self-examinations and checks. Good health is something that we all too often take for granted, but you need only see all the patients going through various stages of treatment at the National Cancer Centre to understand that illness can strike at anytime. Recently, I came across Xmarksmyspot, by a 26-year-old Singaporean who had her life interrupted by breast cancer just a couple of days after graduating from university. Do give it a read if you can.
