Dior Summer 2012 Croisette Swatches

Dior is always the earliest to launch its seasonal makeup collections. This year's Croisette collection is inspired by the French Riviera and features a slew of sunny and aquatic-inspired shades.

The two eyeshadow quints #224 Swimming Pool and #654 Aurora did not appeal to me though. Swimming Pool is super sheer and pale. Aurora has much better payoff and textures but the orangy bronze combination is hard to pull off. The price of Dior's quints keep spiraling too. These two will retail at S$98 in Singapore.

The 1 Couleur Eye Gloss are more impressive, with a nice cooling texture that dries down to a translucent shimmery finish.

I also liked the four Dior Addict Ultra Glosses and three Dior Addict Lipsticks, all of which are very flattering and easy to wear.
