FOTD with Anna Sui Eye Color Duo 04

As mentioned earlier, Anna Sui provided some products from the new fall collection for me to review here.

I love how the mother-of-pearl reflects the light in various colours. The larger compacts are the Eye Color Duos while the smaller ones are the Eye Color singles.


The Eye Color Duo 04 contains a dreamy light blue and a stormy blue green (it looks like midnight blue in the pan but actually applies with more of a green tone). The shades in the lower half of the Duos feel more like cream eyeshadows.

Eye Color Duo 06 has a metallic silvery light blue and a royal purple.


Eye Color #200 is a pale lavender with micro sparkles that flash blue and green.

Eye Color #302 is a sweet candy pink with silver micro sparkles.

Eye Color #800 is a metallic golden olive.

Nail Color N 504 is a metallic brown with irregular gold glitter bits.

Mini Rouge V 03

Here's the look that I did today with the Eye Color Duo 04, Mini Rouge V 03 and Laneige Mystic Veil Foundation #21.

I liked how the light blue shade (applied at the inner corners and browbone area, as well as along the lower lashline) brightened up my eye area and helped me look more awake.

The two shades in the Eye Color Duo were easy to apply and blend with the included sponge applicator although the dark blue green shade took a bit more layering for a truly intense finish.

The pic below was taken after about 6 hours of wear. There was some creasing of the dark green eyeshadow at the inner corners, which sometimes happens with cream eyeshadows, but otherwise the intensity held up fairly well. If you intend to wear it for much longer, the cream shade will require some touching up whereas the light blue powder eyeshadow had very good staying power even on my lower lashline.
