foundation overview #1: Astor 16h Mineral Match

 

this is one of the few foundations i have repurchased because i used it up (although i had plenty others to use).
it comes in a squeeze tube with a fixed taklon brush applicator, i dislike the it. so i always squeeze it onto a little palette and apply with another brush.
it has a creamy texture and is easy to spread out and blend. i have shade 001 - a light (about nc20) slightly yellowish tone. coverage is medium - high.
it gives a nice healthy glowy finish, even though it has some shimmer to it.
the staying power is very well, it looks good on my oily skin over 10 hours (it claims to last 16h), no fading or excessive oiliness. when it does, it fades evenly and not blotchy at all. it transfers only a little bit, not very bad.
overall a great foundation i would always repurchase if i run out. at a price of about 11€ this also wouldn't break the bank.
