Chanel Le Vernis #513 Black Pearl

Chanel Le Vernis #513 Black Pearl (13ml - 22€) is one of three nail polishes introduced with this year's spring look from Chanel.
i think it is the most anticipated out of the 3, if not of the whole collection. let's see how big the hype can get with this, i haven't seen any dupes yet.
Black Pearl should resemble a Tahitian pearl, a dark blue grey pearl with green lustre.
and so it is, a blue tinged frosty grey with green and blue shimmer. the colour looks incredibly deep. the texture is liquidy, but more creamy than Essie's.
this polish is quite sheer, with one coat you'll only have a sheer wash of grey with green shimmer. you'll need 2-3 coats to get it completely opaque. it dries pretty fast, and smells only a little.
sorry i couldn't do a NOTD with it, i had to work the day after getting this - but i'll catch up, promise!
also i can't say anything about the wearing time yet, but normally Chanel polishes don't last that long and you will get chipping and tip wear after 2-3 days at the latest. you pay for the special colours with Chanel, mostly.
this polish is quite tricky though, you'll have to work fast and do straight strokes with a steady hand or it can easily get streaky. maybe you can bring it with you if you get a professional manicure. i think a wider brush would have been better for this finish.
i can imagine it will also look great on your toes for summer.
