Chanel Le Vernis in Morning Rose

i was so so soo awaiting this nail polish to be released! Morning Rose is part of Chanel's summer look 2011 and is the secret gem of the collection to me. while everybody was keen about the yellow Mimosa this may have been overlooked although it's such a wearable summer pink.
i have already ordered it on douglas.de but went out yesterday evening to get it in store immediately - i couldn't wait! (now you know what's part of my next giveaway ;P)
it contains 13ml and i think i paid something between 22-24€ for it.
the classic Chanel nail polish bottle has the typical double-cap with the handy brush cap underneath. the brush is long and thin, i would much prefer a wider brush.
Morning Rose is a warm medium bubblegum pink with gold microglitter in it. it has an even, almost opaque finish with the second coat but still has some transparency to it. one coat gives only a pink glow to your nails, 3 coats would give a opaque, less warm pink. it has a rather liquidy texture, even though not as thin as Essie nail polishes.
due to the microglitter, the surface is not completely glossy when dried, so i prefer to use a top coat. drying time is average.
the gold microshimmer is very subtle in the shadow but sparkles beautifully in sunlight.
like with most of my other Chanel polishes, this wears off fairly quickly on my nails. after about 30 h i would have to remove it because of tip wear/slight chipping. removing it is also not very easy due to the gold microglitter, but not as bad as really glittery polishes.
so the bottom line for me is: this is a beautiful colour i would definitely regret not to get it and would try to dupe it forever (with much effort and money i can predict - just like with Chanel Riviera :( ), but as with all my other Chanel nail lacquers, i only pay for the colour and not for the quality. OPI, Butter London and Estee Lauder are much better brands to go for if you want quality. even P2 and Essence do similar if not better quality.
