woohoo! even more NARS Blushes! #13: Luster
to *celebrate* NARS being again offered on hqhair.com i jumped in with a tiiiny NARS order while the 10%-off code was still valid, consisting of 3 blushes, 3 eyeshadow duos, a gloss and a nail polish. today i want to begin to introduce to you one of my new blushes and continue with my NARS-Blush series: Luster.
again, signature sturdy rubberized compact that i don't need to explain anymore, i think ;)
NARS blushes contain 4.5 - 4.8g each for the powder blushes, and 5.5g each for the cream blushes.
they cost 29€/19.50£/26$.
Luster is a great blush for the summertime and you've already seen a sneak peek of it in my last "favourites of the month(s)"-post. it's a peachy tan colour with minimal hints of pink and a beautiful gold sheen and slight shimmer that's almost a duochrome. the shimmer effect reminds of NARS' Orgasm but is more refined so it makes this a bronzey version of Orgasm to me.
it has a fine and silky texture and is highly pigmented. it's very easy to blend and lasts all day on me. Luster looks brilliant on a slight tan (or in combination with a light bronzer), it emphasizes the warmth and gives a peachy glow without being a flat peach/tan because of its pink hues. the shimmer creates a fine golden glow that's not garish or emphasizing uneven skin.
this colour would look good on warm skin tones and could also work as a bronzing blush for pale skin tones which look muddy with normal bronzers. it may look boring in the pan but became one of my favourite NARS blushes and summer blushes in general - i'm so glad that i finally got it!
