Rouge Bunny Rouge Bejewelled Skylark eyeshadow + GIVEAWAY!

some weeks ago i was sent some eyeshadows by Rouge Bunny Rouge to review, one of the two products being the colour Bejewelled Skylark from their "When Birds Are Singing..." line which i am reviewing for you now.
the eyeshadow comes in the little mirrored compact with floral print, i like their whimsical design for staying monochromatic.
it contains 2.4g and costs about 26€ on zuneta.com.
Bejewelled Skylark is a deep maroon brown with copper and pink shimmer and sheen. i'm glad that they have chosen this colour for me since i was debating wether or not to get a reddish shimmering eyeshadow at that time (particularly MAC's Smoked Ruby from the Semi Precious collection).
it has a velvety smooth texture and applies very intense and evenly, the finish is rich and almost metallic.
i like to wear it on the outer corner or near the lashline if not used wet as a liner, especially with gold or bronze this looks great as a warm smokey eye, creating a beautiful depth. fortunately it's not too reddish or pink on me and doesn't make me look sore-eyed, however i wouldn't wear it on the lower lashline.
i have to say though that i find the texture of this shade not as excellent as the other "When Birds Are Singing..."-eyeshadows i have tried so far (Delicate Hummingbird & Abyssinian Catbird, Mysterious Tinamou, Solstice Halcyon) since i find it doesn't blend out as beautifully as the above mentioned. it looses a bit of the brilliance and shimmer of the initial colour, so i would suggest to pack this on intensely for the full effect and then using another colour to blend out (i like to use golds, like the one from NARS' Exotic Dance duo or Rajasthan duo).
otherwise it blends easily and evenly and lasts very long on me without creasing or fading.

MAC Twinks - Rouge Bunny Rouge Bejewelled Skylark - MAC 100 Strokes (LE)
MAC Twinks - Rouge Bunny Rouge Bejewelled Skylark - MAC 100 Strokes (LE)
out of the 3, RBR Bejewelled Skylark is the smoothest and most intense. it's more coppery while Twinks is rather pink and 100 Strokes a lot more purple.

GIVEAWAY part:

the other product i was sent is their Loose Glitter Pigment in Wishing For Wings. it's a loose eyeshadow of shimmery muted lavendar colour. it contains 1.8g and normally costs 24£/~28€.
maybe you remember that i already own this and have reviewed it here
there's no point for me having two of these and since RBR is ok with it, i want to give it away for one of you to try.
the product you receive of course will be the new and unopened one.

again, FYI: both products were sent to me for review purposes. thank you Rouge Bunny Rouge for that!
i have purchased many RBR products with my own money many times before, so one free product wouldn't change my opinion about it or the brand. be sure that my review is honest and my opinion not influenced by PR. i'm giving away one of the sent items because i already have a similar product, the giveaway happens mutually.
