Esprique is bringing back a revamped version of its Cool BB Spray Foundation (2100yen, 60g) this summer as a limited edition release. Originally launched last May, the new version boasts increased sun protection levels of SPF50+ and PA++++ (the maximum level in Japan), and is available in two shades whereas the original version was only available in one shade. Described as a spray-type essence foundation, it comes with a sponge for spraying the foundation onto before applying to the face. It is fragrance-free, meant for all seasons and contains hyaluronic acid, collagen, mint extract, amino acids and silicones such as dimethicone. The BB aspect is based on its five functions as a beauty essence, sunblock, primer, foundation and face powder. Aside from promising to vanquish the appearance of pores, it also cools the skin by 5°C upon application. Due out on 16 May in Japan, there will also be a limited edition set that includes the BB Spray, Loose Face Powder in Lucent Beige 1.5g and a loose powder puff. Check out the TV commercial featuring actress Ueto Aya here. This will also be available in Taiwan. I seem to recall reading somewhere that it will be available in Singapore too. Kose counters in Singapore are now selling the new Pore Cover Perfect Base CC in these limited edition base makeup kits for just S$39. Their other promotions for May can be found here. Esprique will release two limited edition Rich Fondue Rouge (2500yen) and Sakura Blossom Loose Cheek (2300yen) in PK802 (girlish pink) and PK803 (coral) on 16 March in Japan. Watch their new TV commercials for the new CC Pore Cover Perfect Base and powder foundation here.
Esprique is slated to launch this Pore Cover Perfect Base CC SPF50 PA++++ (30g), along with a foundation kit (with a limited edition case and sample of the CC cream) and a Pore Cover Perfect Base CC kit (with a loose powder in lucent beige and a powder puff) on 16 February in Japan. The Pore Cover Perfect Base promises coverage of pores for up to 13 hours through its 'super flat powder EX' and amino-acid coated 'pore cover powder' which reflects light.
Esprique will debut its new Rich Fondue Rouge on 16 November in Japan. Available in ten shades, it is designed to combat the dryness of the winter season with a formula that melds onto the lips. The ad campaign is fronted by new spokesmodel Japanese actress/model 26 year old Yui Aragaki. See the store display here.
Esprique will be releasing these two limited edition designs of their Foundation Brush in Taiwan. It's not listed on the Japanese website so this might not be available in Japan. Pic from UrCosme.
Esprique will debut its new Smooth On Liquid Foundation UV SPF15 PA++ (18g) on 16 October in Japan. It is designed to overcome the usual complaints about liquid foundation being sticky, non-longlasting, messy and time-consuming to apply. The stamp sponge applies the foundation in a fuss-free way without the need to dirty one's fingers. This will be available in 7 shades. Pic below from Voce.
Now here's an intriguing product from Esprique. The limited edition Cool BB Spray UV foundation SPF30 PA++ (60g) is described as an essence foundation dispensed through a spray mechanism. It's not meant to be sprayed directly onto the face but rather, to be sprayed onto a sponge. It offers the multi-functionality of traditional BB creams in a cooling lightweight texture, performing five functions: sunblock, primer, foundation, powder and beauty essence. It claims to make skin feel 5 degrees cooler and provides coverage of pores without any stickiness. Due out on 15 May in Japan.
Esprique will release a limited edition Sakura Blossom Loose Cheek (2300yen, 5g) in two floral-scented shades PK800 and PK801 on 16 March as part of the Fukushima Sakura Project to support the reconstruction efforts in Fukushima. See real-life pics of the two shades on Beautist. Below is the new TV commercial for their new powder foundation and Beautiful Stay Makeup Base SPF50+ PA+++ featuring Namie Amuro looking as impossibly youthful as ever.
Esprique will launch a new Cover Pact UV powder foundation SPF22 PA++ (2940yen for refill) and Tekarikuzure Boshi Kessho Shitaji (foundation primer) SPF50+ PA+++ (30g, 2940yen) on 16 February in Japan. The foundation will be available in 7 shades and supposedly provides up to 10 hours of wear and good coverage of pores. Both the foundation and primer are suitable for all seasons.
Esprique will be releasing these four limited edition Beauty Coordinate Kits (3360yen) on 16 October in Japan. Each kit includes a Blend Creation Eye and Cheek palette (Bitter Line) and a lipstick quad featuring a new formula that will be introduced officially in Spring 2014. The new Blend Creation palettes F1 to F4 are permanent and will also be available in the refill format that can fit into the regular black cases. The silver limited edition cases are only available as part of the kits. The Blend Creation refills usually retail at 3360yen each while the case is 1050yen so the Beauty Coordinate Kits do offer pretty good value for money. Hopefully, these will be available on Adambeauty.com. You can view the looks created with the four palettes here.
