Rouge Bunny Rouge Original Skin Blush "Orpheline"

my zuneta order has arrived some days ago and now i'll start to introduce to you my new Rouge Bunny Rouge gems!
starting with the Rouge Bunny Rouge For Love Of Roses Original Skin Blush in #036 Orpheline.

this is the official promotion text to the blushes:
"Deep inside a labyrinth of perfectly topiaried winding lanes in the Enchanted Garden lies the Rose Orchard. The sweet and tantalising fragrance of the roses, combined with the sight of their intense pigments, provokes torturous visions of languorous beauty. The thorns of the flowers, so piercingly sharp, can slice through flesh as though it were air, and the elegant, gorgeous Floribunda-Elves are the only guardians that the roses with their poisonous thorns will allow to tend the orchard. The Floribundas perfectly preen and nurture each flower and in return, they are gifted by the roses with the most effervescent and radiant faces in the whole of the Enchanted Garden, their cheeks exuding happiness and excitement, causing many a lover to fall to his knees. Rouge Bunny Rouge have recreated for you this radiant glow with six petal-soft colours to impart a splendorous bloom and captivate your heart?s desires.

Original Skin Blush blends with a sheer, silky touch for a naturally luminous glow. A medley of active ingredients, including Uhaloa from Hawaii, also known as Velvet-leaf and modern technologies impart a long term brightening effect. Indian Gooseberry Fruit Extract stands guard against free radicals. Sheer pearls amplify the creamy soft touch and ensure a limpid glow. Innovative powders entwine with your skin to preserve perfection all day long.
Result is your skin but better; you'll wonder how you blushed before...!"

the blusher contains 3.5g and costs 25£ on zuneta.com.
the packaging is typically RBR very fondly created with delicate floral prints, but the compact this time disappoints me a little bit. it's a sleek black plastic case with a full sized mirror, but has quite sharp edges and the surface is not as perfect as usual...

there are 6 different shades altogether, i chose Orpheline wich is described as a "medium, warm strawberry with an illuminating radiance. best on medium warm skin tones".

live, it really is a strawberry colour, a bright reddish pink. it has some illuminating bits, while swatches non-shimmery as a satin finish. pigmentation is pretty high, but it's very blendable so the result can vary from a natural sheer light flush to a more dolly cheek by the brush you use and the more you layer it. so use a light hand and a fluffy brush to build it up carefully to your desired intensity.
there's no scent to it.
on my cheeks, it has a subtle healthy sheen that makes the usage of an additional highlighter pointless and looks very even. i find this strawberry pink very flattering and brightening for my light/medium asian skin. it's one of the blushes that not only colours your cheeks but also beautifies the skin on your cheek area. it stays on all day and doesn't fade or get blotchy, even if i didn't set my foundation with powder.
i'd love to get some more shades, but still have to research for good swatches on the internet.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Orpheline swatched heavily & blended out

this is how it looks applied combined with a cream bronzer (NARS Cap Vert Bronzer Multiple)

in comparison to other coral/strawberry pink shades:
MAC Marine Life Highlight Powder - Rouge Bunny Rouge Orpheline - MAC Hipness - Benefit Bella Bamba
MAC Marine Life Highlight Powder - Rouge Bunny Rouge Orpheline - MAC Hipness - Benefit Bella Bamba

MAC Marine Life Highlight Powder (the bright part) is more reddish/coral. MAC Hipness is lighter and more peach. Benefit Bella Bamba is more shimmery and pink.
