Cargo Blush in Mendocino

next in the Cargo-row is Mendocino blush. on beautybay.com it costs 15£/17.60€. the signature silver tin contains 8.9g.
Mendocino looks quite intimidating in the pan, it's a plummy berry shade with fine golden shimmer and some crystal sparkles here and there. swatched, it's still a rich raspberry shade with really dimensional gold sheen (you know i love cool toned shades with golden shimmer). it's finely milled and the shimmer distributes evenly. the glow effect is similar to Cargo Rome blush or NARS Orgasm.
it applies easily with a soft fluffy brush (i use my A'Squirrel blush brush, it glides on my skin making application of every blush incredibly effortless), i only dab my brush once into the pan. it blends out well leaving a sheer but buildable true pink flush with a beautiful golden shimmer. you need a light hand with this. it lasts on my cheeks all day without getting blotchy or oxidizing to a bruise-like colour.
i've read reviews of it being similar to NARS Sin blusher, but since i don't own Sin, i can't evaluate. what would you say seeing my swatches? (could i skip Sin? ;) )

this is how it looks on me:

comparison
Cargo Mendocino - MAC Mineralize Blush in Gentle
Cargo Mendocino - MAC Mineralize Blush in Gentle
in my stash, there is only Gentle by MAC being a bit similar to Mendocino. Gentle is a berry pink with gold shimmer, but is lighter than the Cargo blush and also the gold shimmer is not as visible.
i had another Mineralize Blush from MAC that could be somewhat similar, Style Demon (which was a burgundy red with gold shimmer - it had less pink than Mendocino), but i sold it in a blog sale.
