Essence 50's Girl Reloaded Eyeliner in Love Me Tender - a maybe-dupe for Chanel Khaki Platine?

very interesting find. i only bought it because i assume it to be a dupe to Chanel's upcoming Khaki Platine eyeliner from their fall 2011 look. this still needs to be verified since i'm waiting for this collection to hit stores in germany, but from online swatches of the Chanel liner i think that this Essence eyeliner from their 50's Girl Reloaded collection named Love Me Tender could totally be a lookalike to Khaki Platine. a silvery khaki shade with shimmer finish.
it applies smoothly but is not too soft. it doesn't contain chunky glitter so i would also use it on the waterline if this colour wouldn't be so unflattering for that area. i still prefer it on the lower lashline.
the staying power is rather low, it lasts about 6 h on me but is not smudgeproof (the Chanel version is not meant to be extremely long lasting as well, it's from their Crayon Yeux line with medium longevity from my experiences).
it costs something below 2€ - so i strongly suggest you to take a look at this if you're interested in Chanel Khaki Platine anyway as a super affordable alternative.

none of them survived the rub test.
